A precarious calm prevailed on Saturday morning in southern Lebanon after a long night marked by violent bombardments on the Jabal el-Labbouneh forests, one of the largest in the region, igniting wildfires within these woods.

Since the start of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon on October 8, the Hebrew state has systematically bombed Jabal el-Labbouneh. It is estimated that more than two-thirds of this forest has been ravaged by fire.

Bombs were also dropped on the outskirts of Naqoura, Jabal el-Alam, Alma al-Shaab, Ramya, Rachaya al-Foukhar, Kfar Hamam, Kfarchouba, and Hebbariyeh.

The Israeli Army also fired a missile at an empty house in Blida, as well as flare bombs over villages near the Blue Line.

In the early hours of the morning, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over Hasbaya, the Shebaa Farms, and Mount Hermon, as well as several other border villages in the western and central sectors.

For its part, Hezbollah claimed one attack on the Al-Baghdadi position.
