Daniel Hagari, the spokesperson for the Israeli army, addressed a message on Thursday, November 2, to Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah ahead of his anticipated speech tomorrow, Friday, stating, “We are ready!” He affirmed that the Israeli army is “fully prepared to respond forcefully to anyone attempting to undermine the security situation in the north,” emphasizing their “strength and preparedness on the northern border.”

He pointed out that until the last moment, “the army targeted sites on the Lebanese border from which rockets were launched towards Israel,” indicating that “Israeli border units were also attacked in the past hour.”

Meanwhile, the Israeli army launched on Thursday two missiles from a drone at the eastern neighborhood of the town of Al-Adaisseh, near the Maskav settlement. Additionally, several Israeli shells targeted the vicinity of the town of Rmeish, a house on the outskirts of the town of Aita al-Shaab, and the outskirts of Ramyah towards the town of Bayt Lif. Israeli drones carried out multiple airstrikes in the Tuffah region, as the sounds of explosions echoed in the area.

For his part, Israeli Defense Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said on Thursday that they continue to target Hezbollah’s military objectives along the border in the northern region and eliminate hostile cells planning to launch anti-tank missiles, rockets and mortars towards Israeli territory.

“Our forces are targeting the sites from which the projectiles are launched towards the Mount Hermon and Mount Rouis areas. We also targeted a cell that launched a surface-to-air missile towards our drone,” he said on his X account (formerly Twitter).

Moreover, an Israeli MK aircraft flew over the Zaharani area in the early morning hours. A foreign object, likely the remnants of a hot air balloon, fell in the Wadi Ain al-Daleh area in Saksakieh in Zaharani.

On the other hand, Hezbollah targeted an Israeli military site opposite the town of Houla with a guided missile.

Tension and extreme caution currently prevail over the eastern sector of southern Lebanon, especially in the areas of Hasbaya and Shebaa Farms, after a tense night that witnessed mutual rocket and artillery shelling between Hezbollah and Israeli forces in the Aqrub area of Hasbaya, the frontlines of Shebaa Farms and the hills of Kfarshouba. In the early hours of the morning, the bodies of two young shepherds shot dead by the Israeli army on Wednesday, November 1, while grazing their livestock near the Wazani River, were discovered.
