Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah received Secretary General of the Palestine Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Ziad Nakhaleh and Hamas Deputy Chief Saleh al-Arouri.

This information was published by Hezbollah’s press office on the morning of Wednesday, October 25, without details about the date or place of the meeting. It was released alongside a photo of the three men.

The meeting was held after the Hezbollah leader’s noticeable absence from the media since the start of the Hamas offensive against Israel on October 7.

According to the press release, the meeting focused on “recent events in the Gaza Strip since the start of Al-Aqsa Flood operation and  the subsequent developments, as well as clashes along the Lebanese border.”

The participants “assessed the international and national positions, as well as the measures to be taken by the Axis of Resistance during this delicate period to ensure the victory of the resistance in Gaza and Palestine and to bring an end to the barbaric aggression against the Gaza and West Bank populations.”

They agreed to “continue coordination and daily monitoring of developments,” according to the statement.

Nasrallah also sent a handwritten message to Hezbollah media outlets on Wednesday, October 24, asking them to name Hezbollah fighters killed in clashes with Israel since October 7 as “martyrs on the journey to Jerusalem.”
