Sheikh Nabil Kaouk, a member of Hezbollah’s executive council, announced on Sunday that “any Israeli aggression against Lebanon, at any time and in any place, will be met with a strong and immediate response.”

Sheikh Kaouk made these remarks at a funeral ceremony in Khirbet Selm. He indicated that “the objectives and consequences of this aggression go beyond Gaza to impact Lebanon, Syria, and the entire region.”

Kaouk further addressed the role of the United States in the ongoing conflict, holding them primarily responsible for the ongoing violence in Gaza.

He accused the US of encouraging and arming the Israeli military and providing them with political cover. “The blood of martyrs drips from the hands of the US administration,” he stated, labeling it a “savage terrorist administration.”

Sending a message to the United States, he said, “The fleets and aircraft carriers will not deter us from fulfilling our national and humanitarian duty to defend our people and our homeland.”

Kaouk also explained that “the movement of the fleets has one goal, which is to isolate Gaza from any external support.”

He stressed that Hezbollah is at the forefront of championing the cause of Gaza. He concluded, “The ongoing operations drain the Israeli enemy along the borders with occupied Palestine. The resistance has managed to force the enemy to evacuate settlements near the borders.”
