General Security: Amendment of Passport and Travel Document Fees

The General Directorate of General Security Public Relations Office issued the following statement on Friday:

“The General Directorate of General Security informs citizens that in accordance with Decree No. 11767 dated 01/08/2023 (amending the fees collected by the General Directorate of General Security), the fees for issuing Lebanese passports and Palestinian travel and laissez-passer documents have been revised as follows:

Five-year passport: 6,000,000 Lebanese pounds
Ten-year passport: 10,000,000 Lebanese pounds
Laissez-passer: 1,200,000 Lebanese pounds
Three-year Palestinian travel document: 3,600,000 Lebanese pounds
Five-year Palestinian travel document: 6,000,000 Lebanese pounds”

The new fees will be implemented as of this date.
