The “Qanoubine Association for Message and Heritage” and the American University of Technology organized a spiritual and cultural event in the courtyard of the Holy Valley Library at the Patriarchal See in Diman, in conjunction with the beatification and sanctification of the honored Patriarch Estephan Douaihy, under the patronage and presence of the Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rai.
In his speech during the event, Rai hoped that all politicians rise above their personal interests and narrow calculations so they can see the reality. “As long as they (the politicians) are immersed in and revolving around personal interests and factional concerns, Lebanon will continue to stumble from one day to another,” he said.
