The fire that broke out on Saturday in the Akkar region of North Lebanon has spread across the hills and valleys around the village of Tallet al-Sinn.

Civil Defense firefighters, the Army, and volunteers have been working hard for the past 36 hours to bring the flames under control, as the wind has caused them to spread rapidly in several directions.

So far, the fire has taken over an area of 40 hectares.
