“Lebanon is going through a critical period, and what we are witnessing today is a necessary labor that will bring Lebanon back to its normal regional and international status,” MP Salim Sayegh said on Monday.

Sayegh spoke at a gathering after attending mass in the town of Bekaata – Ashkout. “After various political factions agreed on Jihad Azour’s presidential candidacy, we all noticed the sense of relief looming around our towns and villages,” Sayegh added.

The Kataeb MP added that “Azour encompasses great financial experience, one that can be relied on in the attempt to launch Lebanon’s rescue endeavor.”

Sayegh concluded  by saying that “whoever doesn’t accept Jihad Azour today is automatically siding with the Mumanaa candidate, and let every MP bear the responsibility of their actions.”
