The financial struggles of nurses in the public and private sectors have been escalating since the beginning of the crisis in 2019.
This situation is reaching an end. The President of the Order of Nurses in Lebanon, Rima Sassine Kazan, announced on Tuesday during a press conference a strategy aimed at improving the financial conditions of nursing professionals. She presented the solution of a salary increase plan that extends over a period of two years. This plan aims to ensure that by 2025, nurses’ salaries will be fully paid in fresh dollars.
