Member of Parliament Ghassan Skaff announced on Wednesday his plans to travel to Washington for two days, preceding another visit to Paris. According to his press office, the Washington visit comes in response to an invitation from the American Task Force for Lebanon. He will use this opportunity to meet U.S. administration officials.

During his trip to Paris, Skaff is slated to meet with French officials closely involved in the Lebanese file. This comes as part of the MP’s initiative to bring together different perspectives in order to break the Presidential deadlock.

In the spirit of this initiative, Skaff made several visits to Lebanese political leaders and religious figures in an attempt to find a solution to the presidential vacancy.
