Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati received an invitation on Monday from King Salman of Saudi Arabia to attend the Arab League’s 32nd meeting, which will take place in Jeddah on May 19.
Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari extended the invitation and insisted on the fact that the Saudi’s vision for Lebanon, is not founded on prioritizing one community over the other.
The meeting follows Sunday’s special meeting, where Arab Foreign Ministers endorsed a resolution on a conditional reinstatement of Syria into the Arab League.
