Caretaker Minister of Education Abbas Al-Halabi released a statement on Sunday denouncing the “horrific crime” committed by the Israeli military in Ainata that killed three young girls and their grandmother.
“We share the sorrow and grief of the families of the martyrs and their companions and with the educational community at the School of the Two Holy Hearts in Ain Ibl,” the statement read. “We call on all officials responsible for managing public and private schools, high schools, and vocational institutions to observe a minute of silence tomorrow morning in mourning for the martyrs.”
