The Caretaker Minister of Education, Abbas Al-Halabi, announced on Tuesday that “public and private schools, high schools, and technical colleges will remain closed on Wednesday, October 11, in areas bordering south Lebanon, due to tensions and fears for the safety of teachers, students, and residents.”
Halabi called on citizens to “follow the Ministry’s official statements on a daily basis.”
