The Real Estate Syndicate of Lebanon is pleased to announce the upcoming 2nd Real Estate Forum of Lebanon, titled “The Real Estate and Housing Sector in Lebanon: Between Stagnation and Revival.” This important event will take place on June 25, 2024, at the prestigious Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut, under the patronage of caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati.

The real estate sector in Lebanon has long been a cornerstone of the economy, contributing significantly to employment, investment and overall economic growth. However, recent years have presented unprecedented challenges, including a severe economic downturn, a banking crisis and a lack of financing options, leading to stagnation in the sector.

Against this backdrop, the 2nd Real Estate Forum of Lebanon aims to bring together key stakeholders from across the industry to address these challenges and explore strategies for revitalizing the real estate and housing markets. The forum will feature insightful discussions, presentations and networking opportunities, providing a platform for policymakers, industry leaders and financial experts to collaborate on innovative solutions.

The program will include sessions focusing on initiatives aimed at revitalizing the real estate sector in Lebanon, alternative financing solutions and the role of innovation and technology in fostering growth, as well as strategies for urban development and housing. Participants can anticipate acquiring valuable insights into the sector’s challenges and actively contributing to shaping its future trajectory.

Walid Moussa, President of the Real Estate Syndicate of Lebanon, commented, “We are excited to host the 2nd Real Estate Forum of Lebanon and bring together industry stakeholders to collectively address the challenges facing our sector. By fostering collaboration and innovation, we aim to pave the way for a sustainable revival of the real estate and housing markets in Lebanon.”
