Businessman Antoun Sehnaoui posted photos on his social media accounts showing him alongside Morgan Ortagus. He accompanied them with the following statement:
“Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day. Morgan and I had the honor of attending the Days of Remembrance ceremonies at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, where both of our names were engraved on the donor wall.”
He added: “This year, as every year, we remember that it is our responsibility to ensure that future generations never forget. We are deeply grateful to be able to support this institution and its essential work.”
This marks the first time a Lebanese donor’s name has been inscribed on the donor wall at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington.
