An Israeli drone strike on Tuesday killed one Hezbollah member in Marjayoun after targeting a Rapid vehicle, and in a rare move, the IDF also struck a vehicle in Chouf’s Siblin–Jadra road, reportedly killing another Hezbollah member and injuring several others.

The IDF said it targeted two Hezbollah members in separate incidents, reiterating that the presence of Hezbollah fighters south of the Litani River constitutes a violation of the ceasefire agreement.

The strike in Chouf’s Siblin–Jadra area is notable, as Israeli drone attacks in the Chouf district have been rare since the November 27, 2024, ceasefire, with the last recorded strike occurring on September 9, 2025.

Earlier on Tuesday, an Israeli force infiltrated the border town of Dhaira, in the southern Tyre district, advancing approximately 600 meters north of the Blue Line. The force reportedly transported empty ammunition boxes rigged with explosives and placed them in the Al-Sari neighborhood. A Lebanese Army (LAF) engineering unit later arrived at the scene and discovered the devices before they could be detonated.

In a separate incident, an Israeli military vessel fired bursts of gunfire during the night toward Lebanese territorial waters off the coast of the southern town of Naqoura, while also launching flares into the air over the same area.
