An Israeli drone targeted a house in the town of Wata al-Khiam in southern Lebanon. Upon inspection, the body of a Hezbollah fighter, Wissam Abou Abbas, was found.
A statement issued by the Public Health Emergency Operations Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Public Health, announced that the Israeli strike on the house in Wata al-Khiam resulted in one fatality, according to initial reports. Later in the afternoon, the Israeli army announced that it had targeted a Hezbollah member belonging to the anti-tank missile unit in the Khiam area.
In the early evening, an Israeli drone dropped a sound bomb on a fisherman in Naqoura.
Earlier in the morning, an Israeli reconnaissance aircraft dropped a sound bomb near the town of Kfar Kila.
