Kataeb Party leader Samy Gemayel called for the election of “a president who is determined to limit weapons to the Lebanese Army and build a state that meets the ambitions of the Lebanese youth.”
After meeting with a delegation from the parliamentary National Moderation bloc on Monday, Gemayel stressed that “the president should reassure all Lebanese, and should be determined to apply the law with equality.”
“In the end, we only have the army and the cedar, so I hope that we all come together to build the state and not have to endure more hardships and crises for nothing,” he concluded.
