From southern Lebanon to the Beqaa, Israeli strikes continue and the death toll rises amid relentless Israeli bombardments and a drone crashing in Western Galilee.
On Monday, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adrae issued yet another evacuation warning to residents of southern towns. In his post on X, Adrae stated “For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move to the north of the Awali River. You are prohibited from heading south. We will inform you of the appropriate time to return to your homes as soon as the conditions are suitable for this.
The South
At dawn on Monday, the Israeli military opened heavy machine gun fire toward forested areas adjacent to Naqoura, Jabal al-Labbouneh, Alma al-Shaab, Tayr Harfa, Dhayra and Aita al-Shaab. Israeli soldiers attempted multiple incursions into Lebanese territory in these western and central sectors. For its part, Hezbollah struck Israeli positions near Ramya, al-Qouzah and Aita al-Shaab.
Israeli attacks escalated overnight, with repeated airstrikes on villages across the Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts. These strikes were accompanied by continuous reconnaissance flights and drone activity over the affected villages, with Israeli warplanes and flares lighting up the skies from the western and central sectors to the Litani River and the coastal areas.
Rainfall on Sunday night compounded the hardships faced by displaced residents, who are already enduring a lack of heating and winter supplies.
The Beqaa
