Israeli airstrikes continued into Saturday evening, targeting various locations in Lebanon. One strike hit the Akroum crossing in Akkar (North Lebanon) on the border with Syria for the first time.

The attack halted traffic on the Al Sabaa bridge between Akroum and Kafr Toun villages. While no injuries were reported, the impact of the strikes caused several nearby houses to sustain cracks.

Earlier, an air raid targeted the Al-Qaa-Jousieh border crossing between Lebanon and Syria—the second such attack in less than a week—with a UN official noting that "humanitarian structures" were affected.

Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamiye announced that the strike had closed the crossing once again after it had been partially reopened.

A child was killed, and nine others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Hazrata region in central Bekaa. In southern Lebanon, Israeli aircraft bombed the villages of Khiam, Aita al-Jabal, Houla, Kfar Remman, Qana, Kafra, and Bint Jbeil.

The town of Maroun al-Ras has become a focal point for machine-gun and artillery fire, signaling that clashes have shifted there following days of fighting in Khiam.

According to the Ministry of Health, one person was killed, and 15 others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on an apartment in the Semaan Gallery area of Beirut’s southern suburbs on Saturday afternoon.

The Ministry also reported that the total death toll since the start of the war climbed to 2,897, with 13,150 wounded, including 30 people killed and 103 injured on Thursday.

In response, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for rocket attacks on a “military industries” base north of Haifa.

The group also targeted the Galilot military intelligence unit 8200 base in the Tel Aviv suburbs, as well as the settlements of Dalton, Beria, Sha'el, Yesod HaMa'alah, Bar Yochai, and Krayot, north of Haifa.

Additionally, the “Ramat David” base and airport in northern Israel were struck by a swarm of drones.

Israeli authorities reported that at least 19 people were injured in Tira, central Israel, when a projectile hit a building and caused significant damage. Several rockets were also intercepted during the strikes.
