Hezbollah said that it fired rockets and drones on Wednesday at three military positions in northern Israel, including near Haifa and Acre, in a simultaneous operation that it said bypassed Israeli defenses.
In a statement, the Iran-backed group said it launched a "combined attack using advanced rockets and a swarm of drones," adding that they "hit their targets accurately."
The Israeli army reported that at least three drones were launched from Lebanon toward northern Israel, one of which was intercepted by air defenses.
It also stated that there were two drone impacts, but has not specified their location or whether any damage occurred.
The army further said that one drone was intercepted over Ya’ara in the Western Galilee, while the other two exploded in northern Israel, causing no injuries. There were no immediate reports of major damage.
Sirens sounded along Israel’s northern coastal plain, reaching as far south as Hadera.
