Airstrikes and Retaliations on Lebanon's Border
Tensions between Hezbollah and Israel continue to escalate along the Lebanon-Israel border. Israeli warplanes have carried out airstrikes since the morning, targeting various locations such as Bint Jbeil, the outskirts of Alma al-Shaab, Dhayra and al-Salhani.

In a separate incident, an Israeli Merkava tank fired two direct shells at the vicinity of the Special Needs School in Aita al-Shaab. Moreover, on Friday morning, a residence in Alma al-Shaab was struck by Israeli machine gunfire, although the occupants survived the attack.

On Thursday night, an Israeli airstrike resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a child. The strike targeted two motorcycles on the Nabatieh-Kfarjoz road near the Fakhr al-Din well facilities, destroying the motorcycles and sparking fires. A passing car was also hit, prompting immediate responses from civil defense and ambulance teams.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for an attack on "the main air defense base of the Northern Command in the Birya barracks" in retaliation to the strike on Kfarjoz.

On the Israeli side, rocket sirens sounded once again in the northern community of Malkiya near Lebanon's border, following earlier alerts that the Israeli military had dismissed as false alarms, as reported by Israeli media.
