The Lebanese Armed Forces Command has received a further portion of the $20 million financial donation from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as part of its ongoing support for the military institution in light of current challenges.
"The donation will be distributed equitably to soldiers as soon as administrative procedures are finalized. The Commander-in-Chief of the Lebanese Army, General Joseph Aoun, thanked this valuable initiative, underlining that it contributes to alleviating the burden of the crisis for the soldiers," reads the statement issued by the military institution.
