Qassem: Israel Is Unable to Impose Its Conditions
Hezbollah deputy leader Sheikh Naim Qassem declared on Sunday that Israel is “unable” to impose its conditions regarding the presence of the pro-Iranian group at the Lebanese-Israeli border.

“Israel is proposing and attempting to create the impression of having options to facilitate the return of Israelis displaced from the northern kibbutzim and to push Hezbollah fighters away,” Sheikh Qassem stated.

However, he emphasized that “Israel is not able to impose its options,” specifying that Tel Aviv must “first end the conflict in Gaza for hostilities with Lebanon to cease.”

“The persistent bombings targeting civilians in Lebanon means that the response (from Hezbollah) will be stronger and proportional to the Israeli aggression,” warned the deputy leader of the pro-Iranian party.

Israel is accusing Hezbollah of “operating by hiding behind the civilian population” of the village of Ramya, which was bombed on Sunday, and of using it as a “center for its terrorist activities.”
