Southern Lebanon: At Least one Dead in an Israeli Raid on Aitaroun
At least one person was killed and three others injured in an Israeli raid on Aïtaroun, on Saturday night An Israeli missile targeted homes in the village. This brings to three the number of fighters from the pro-Iranian group killed on Saturday in South Lebanon.

Following early morning Israeli raids on the Khardali area, Hezbollah stepped up its retaliation on Saturday afternoon against Israeli military positions.

In a retaliatory response, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted Israeli infantry units in the Tallet al-Tayhat and Jabal Nezr positions, as well as the Choumayra barracks and the Bayad Blida, Birkat Risha, al-Abad, and Shebaa Farms sites. Hezbollah also launched rockets from southern Lebanon towards the settlement of "al-Manara'' in the Galilee Panhandle.

It should be noted that in the afternoon, the Lebanese Army reopened the Khardali road, which was under Israeli raids on Saturday morning.


Hezbollah also mourned the loss of two of its fighters in southern Lebanon.

Additionally, the civil defense team affiliated with the Islamic Mission Scouts, which is close to the pro-Iranian group, escaped artillery shells that fell near the association's center in Mays al-Jabal.

Israeli bombardments targeted several areas of Mays al-Jabal, as well as the outskirts of Jebine, Tayr Harfa, and Naqoura. Phosphorus shells were also dropped on the Tawfa area of Mays al-Jabal. The towns of Aita al-Shaab and Ramya also experienced direct shelling, with the area of Ain al-Zarqa between Tayr Harfa and Alma al-Shaab intermittently bombarded.
