Israeli strikes on Lebanon renwed Wednesday morning, targeting Beirut’s southern suburbs, including in Haret Hreik, Hadath, and Laylaki.
The army’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, described the targets as Hezbollah infrastructure and weapons depots. The blast reverberated across the capital.
Israeli reconnaissance drones were reported flying continuously over Lebanon since Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, local broadcaster MTV Lebanon said Judge Mirna Beida ordered the immediate evacuation of the Palace of Justice in Baabda after information surfaced about a potential threat to a nearby building.
Separately, three Palestinian girls were killed and four others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike late Tuesday on an apartment in Saadiyat in the Shouf district of Mount Lebanon.

The commander of Israel’s Northern Command said Hezbollah had made “a grave mistake” and fallen into a strategic trap, vowing that Israel “will not stop until Hezbollah receives a heavy blow.”

On the Israeli side, sirens sounded in northern towns after a rocket was fired from Lebanon toward the Upper Galilee, causing material damage. The Israeli Home Front Command reported additional sirens in Metulla after rockets were detected.
Israeli Retaliation
In response, Israeli fighter jets struck the outskirts of Faron and Srifa in southern Lebanon, while artillery shelled the Shokan Adashit area. Israeli raids also targeted Shakra and Jmaijma, wounding several people who were transferred to hospitals in Tyre, as well as the town of al-Qusayr in the Marjayoun district.
The Israeli army later said that 30 rockets had been launched from Lebanon since Tuesday night, most of which were intercepted, with the remainder landing in uninhabited areas.
