Hezbollah denied in a statement on Monday evening the Israeli claims about the death of its number 2, Ali Karaki, in the strikes that hit Dahyeh.
“Ali Karaki is in good health and has been moved to a safe location,” the statement read.
Earlier in the afternoon, six rockets hit the southern suburbs of Beirut according to Lebanese media, targeting “Ali Karaki.” The Israeli army launched the rockets at the Madi neighborhood in Dahyeh, where Karaki was believed to be located.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that “Ali Karaki is the target of the airstrike on the suburbs.”
