MBS Receives Araghchi to Discuss Regional Stability and Ceasefire Efforts

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met on Tuesday with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his accompanying delegation at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and discussed the latest regional developments and efforts to address them. The Crown Prince expressed Saudi Arabia’s hope that the ceasefire agreement would help create conditions conducive to strengthening security and stability in the region. He also reaffirmed the Kingdom’s stance in supporting dialogue and diplomatic means as the path to resolving disputes.

For his part, the Iranian foreign minister thanked the Kingdom for its condemnation of the Israeli aggression and expressed appreciation for the Crown Prince’s efforts to promote regional peace and stability.

SPA had earlier reported that Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud received Araghchi in Mecca earlier in the day, where they discussed bilateral relations and the latest regional developments, as well as efforts to achieve security and stability in the region.
