The US State Department reiterated on October 28 its call to American citizens in Lebanon to “leave now, while commercial flights remain available, due to the unpredictable security situation.”
The statement, which was published by the US Embassy in Beirut via the “X” platform, emphasized that “there is no guarantee the U.S. government will evacuate private US citizens and their family members in a crisis situation.”
