The Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Establishment (EBML) urged its subscribers on Wednesday, September 13, to pay their water charges for both the current and previous years.
Payments can be made through specialized collectors or cash desks available at water distribution centers. Additionally, they can be made at electronic payment machines (POS MACHINE), also located at these centers, and at the money transfer company OMT (Online Money Transfer S.A.L.).
EBML lamented not being able to provide its subscribers with the online electronic payment service via its website or application, citing force majeure as the reason. However, it said it is actively working to reinstate this service.
Due to the current economic conditions, EBML has also decided to extend the deadline for late subscription payments (prior to the year 2023) until December 2025, and to facilitate the process of taking out new subscriptions for those who owe the office royalties, by allowing them to spread their payments over a period extending to December 2025. EBML has also reduced fees for new subscriptions.
