Nearly 111 judges announced on Friday that they were suspending their work. In a statement, they highlighted the challenges they face, while emphasizing “the state’s incapacity to provide adequate healthcare, medical treatment, and education for themselves and their families, along with the absence of dignified working conditions in the justice system, and the overall deteriorating state of the judiciary.”

“This suspension will continue until conditions that enable us to live and work with dignity are met.”
