Unlike Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and other Arab and Western countries, Iran has not sent any aid to the people of Gaza.

Humanitarian aid trucks, which began entering the enclave on Friday, the first day of the humanitarian truce, are being searched by Egyptian law enforcement officials and UNRWA representatives at the Rafah crossing.

On average, around ten trucks enter Gaza every day, but none of them come from Iran, a country that has expressed strong support for the Palestinian Islamist group since Hamas began attacking Israel on October 7.
