On the shores of Lake Issyk Kul, in Kyrgyzstan, a group of volunteer divers pulls up garbage abandoned at the bottom. A Unesco World Heritage site, Issyk Kul is home of a wide variety of animal species. However, the influx of tourists and the waste they often leave is putting this natural gem at risk.
