President Aoun Advocates For the State's Monopoly on Weapons

During his first televised interview on the Saudi channel, Al-Sharq News, the President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, stated that "only the State is authorized to fulfill its national duty of protecting the territory and the people."

He emphasized his commitment to "sovereignty, which means that decisions of war and peace are reserved for the state and that weapons are monopolized or reserved for the state."
