Israeli warplanes raided several neighborhoods in Beirut’s southern suburb on Mondat night, targeting the area of Ouzai at the city’s southern entrance for the first time.

The raids, which came shortly after Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an evacuation order for the inhabtants of two neighborhoods in the southern suburb, sparked a massive exodus of the residents of Ouzai which, however, was not mentioned in the evacuation alert.

Several casualties were reported in Ouzai which is close to Beirut’s international airport.

Adraee claimed earlier that “Hezbollah is keeping  hundreds of millions of dollars in gold and cash, in a bunker located underneath Sahel hospital in Beirut southern suburb.”.
