Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah since 1992, was killed on September 27, 2024, in the southern suburbs of Beirut as a result of an Israeli airstrike. Born in 1960 in Bourj Hammoud, Beirut, he played a pivotal role in shaping Hezbollah’s political and military influence in the region.
