Cross-border fighting has continued unabated for the past 24 hours.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said two people were killed Monday in an Israeli strike on the town of Mays al-Jabal. One was a rescue worker from the Risala Scouts which is affiliated with the Amal movement. The second person killed was a member of Hezbollah. The raid also injured several other people, who were transferred to Tibnin Hospital. Later on in the day the Israeli army fired two mortar shells on the same town.  Naqoura and Wadi Hamul were also targeted with artillery shells.

Israeli artillery shelling also targeted orchards in Kfar Hamam, preventing farmers from harvesting their crops. No injuries were reported from the shelling.

As for Hezbollah, it resumed its operations after two of its members were killed Sunday in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Hula.

The pro-Iranian group launched an aerial attack with a squadron of drones on the new headquarters of the 91st Division in the Eilit Barracks, targeting soldier positions and hitting them directly, “killing and wounding a number of them,” according to a statement released by the group. It also targeted the Malkiya and Ramim sites.

A drone exploded in Ayelet Hashahar in northern Israel, injuring two soldiers, one seriously.

Israeli media reported that at dawn on Monday, “alarm sirens sounded continuously and several explosions were heard in different areas of the Upper Galilee, in the north of the country,” adding that drone and missile fire began at 2 a.m.

Sirens also sounded in northern Israeli towns, including Kyriat Shmona and Margaliot.

Israeli firefighters are currently working to extinguish fires that broke out in various places in the Upper Galilee due to missile interceptions.

Hezbollah issued a statement pledging to continue its operations in support of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and in response to Israeli attacks and assassinations in southern Lebanon.

On a similar note, the rapid escalation between Hezbollah and Israel has prompted many countries to ask their citizens to leave the country, with Turkey and Japan being the most recent.
