Israeli drones conducted two airstrikes early on Monday morning, targeting a car and a motorcycle on the road between Shaqra and Hula, South of Lebanon.

The attacks killed two people and injured three others, including a toddler, according to reports from the Civil Defense in the South.

A motorbike approached the targeted car while members of the Civil Defence and the al-Rissala scout association were on the scene to rescue victims. This is when the second raid took place, targeting the motorbike.

These attacks come against a backdrop of heightened tensions and constant threats of a possible Israeli strike on Lebanon, following the attack on Majdal Shams, in the Golan Heights, which resulted in the deaths of 12 young people.

Israeli warplanes and drones also attacked the town of Markaba shortly after midnight, targeting a house but causing no injuries.

The town of Rab-Thalathin was also hit at dawn on Monday, resulting in damage to many houses in the area.
