Iran’s acting foreign minister met Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut.

According to a statement by Hezbollah, they discussed “the latest political and security developments in the region, particularly on the Gaza and Lebanon fronts, and the proposed solutions.”

In his first trip abroad since his temporary appointment following the death of Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a helicopter crash that also claimed the life of President Ebrahim Raisi, Ali Bagheri arrived in Beirut on Monday and is set to meet on Tuesday with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus.
