The North Bar Association in Tripoli granted permission to pursue lawyer Khaled Merheb, a suspect in the TikTok gang case.

The council of the North Bar Association, presided over by President Sami Al-Hassan, convened to discuss the lifting of immunity from Merheb, who arrived at the association to attend the investigation with him in the association council, accompanied by a boy introduced as his “assistant.”

The Tripoli Bar Association had previously issued a statement affirming that if the involvement of any lawyer is proven, “it will take necessary legal actions to ensure justice,” and that “it will not hesitate to take any decision or measure to expose this gang and hold it accountable.”
