Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant referred to the conflict with Hezbollah on the Lebanese southern border as Israel’s “biggest challenge arena,” stating, “we are approaching a decisive point.”
He added during his statement on Sunday from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, “We have not yet achieved our goals in the war, but we have not given up on achieving them.”
He also affirmed that the operation to prevent “Iranian entrenchment in Syria is ongoing.”
