Fire exchanges between Hezbollah and Israel resumed on Saturday in the southern border regions.

On Friday night, the pro-Iranian party announced the death of a fighter targeted by an Israeli drone strike. The date and place of the attack were not specified.

Israeli artillery bombardments also targeted the outskirts of Bayt Lif, Wazzani, Ramya, and Aita al-Shaab. It’s important to note that a shell hit a school in Aita al-Shaab.

However, the escalation didn’t die down on Saturday morning. The Israelis targeted the outskirts of Tayr Harfa in the western sector with artillery shells and raided the towns of Jabal Blat, Alma al-Shaab, and Aita al-Shaab, as well as the region between Markaba and Taybe.

In addition, the Israeli Army carried out machine-gun raids in areas extending from Metoula to Tallet al-Hamames and Marj al-Khiam.

Israeli drones also flew over the border regions as far as the western Bekaa and Jabal Safi in Iqlim al-Touffah.

In retaliation, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers on Cobra Hill with two Burkan missiles.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Army radio reported that two missiles had landed in the Admit settlement in Western Galilee.
