Israeli drones conducted two airstrikes in the Ghazieh area, south of the city of Saida, marking the first attacks of their kind since the outbreak of conflict on the southern border. Initial reports suggest over a dozen people were wounded.
According to reports, the airstrikes targeted a warehouse used for manufacturing tires and generators, as well as the vicinity of a marble stone factory, causing extensive fires and significant damage to both sites.
Hezbollah infrastructure near Saida was reportedly targeted, as confirmed by Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee. Adraee stated that the attack was a response to the discovery of enemy aerial debris near the Tiberias area earlier in the day. He emphasized that Israel would continue to retaliate forcefully against Hezbollah’s actions.
Israeli raids targeted the outskirts of the town of Odaisseh towards al-Oweideh.
The warplanes also bombed the outskirts of the town of Marwahin with rockets.
Additionally, Israeli drones targeted the al-Azab Valley between the towns of Bayt Lif and Yater.
Hezbollah responded to the Israeli attacks by targeting Israeli army sites in Birkat Risha and the sites of Samaqa and al-Rimta in the Shebaa Farms. The group announced direct hits on these locations.
