Former MP Misbah al-Ahdab asserted, “If Hezbollah wants to reconcile with and reach out to the Sunnis, it must reconsider its perception of Sunnis in Lebanon as an incubating environment for takfirism.”
Al-Ahdab conveyed these remarks on his X account on Sunday, urging “the formation to end” its attempts to demonize young Sunnis “by calling them extremists as a way to imprison them.”
In conclusion, the former Tripoli MP denounced Hezbollah for “controlling the state as a pretext of resistance against the Israeli enemy, which in turn is depriving young Sunnis of their most basic rights.”
