Artillery exchanges in South Lebanon are still ongoing between Hezbollah and the Israeli army. On Thursday night, Hezbollah announced the death of two of its fighters.

The Israeli artillery bombarded with phosphorous and incendiary shells the eastern chain of Mount Hermon in the localities of Bastra and Shanouh and the town of Kfarchouba.

Aita al-Shaab was also subjected to artillery bombardment. The shelling targeted the outskirts of the town and the outskirts of Aitaroun, as well as Kfar Kila, where casualties were reported.

An Israeli shell fell on an under-construction house on the hill of Ras al-Dahr in Mays al-Jabal. Other Israeli shells fell between the Hamams area and the south of the town of Khiam.

Earlier in the afternoon, the spokesperson for the Israeli army declared that “missiles were launched from Lebanon towards the area of Shtula, and an anti-tank missile was launched towards a position of the Israeli army in Dovive.”

Hezbollah announced that it targeted Jal al-Alam in the afternoon with guided missiles, adding that an Israeli infantry force that had gathered on the Karantina hill, near the Hadab Yaron site, was also targeted with appropriate weapons.
