The Israeli shelling resumed on Wednesday along the Lebanese southern border, reaching the outskirts of the towns of Naqoura and Tayr Harfa with heavy artillery fire.

Israeli forces launched illuminating bombs over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line until dawn, as hostile reconnaissance aircraft continued to fly over the region, covering the coastal area and the course of the Litani River, from the Qasmiyeh Bridge to the Qaaqaiya Bridge.

From the evening of Tuesday until midnight, the bombardment intensified in the vicinity of Naqoura, Mount Labbouneh, Alma al-Shaab, Ramya, Jabain, Dhayra, Yater, and Wadi Marjayoun in the western and central sectors.

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery is shelling the town of Khiam.
