US Ambassador to Lebanon Dorothy Shea visited Lebanese Forces (LF) leader Samir Geagea and Caretaker Minister of Interior Bassam Maoulaoui on Tuesday.
She discussed the regional situation with them, particularly fears of a rise in tensions in the Middle East in light of the war between Hamas and Israel.
The meeting in Meerab was attended by Embassy Counselor Brian Barron, LF’s Head of External Relations and former Minister Richard Kouyoumjian, and the Head of the LF’s bureau in the United States, Joseph Gebeyli.
