Caretaker Minister of Education Abbas Halabi announced that schools will remain closed on Thursday in areas close to the southern borders, given the continuous deterioration of the military and security conditions in the region.
In a statement released on Wednesday by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Halabi called for “following the ministry’s data day by day, to monitor field developments, and to maintain the start of the academic year.”
