President and CEO of the American Task Force on Lebanon and former Ambassador Ed Gabriel talked to “Political Pulse” about his meetings in Beirut with several political leaders and officials while stressing the importance of electing a president and addressing the economic situation.
He also explained that the Group of Five (France, USA, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt) is following up on the presidential dossier and urging political parties to put an end to the political deadlock.
Gabriel then highlighted the necessity to implement the IMF reforms and asked Parliament to address the budget deficit.
