Clashes with automatic weapons and mortar shells resumed late Saturday morning after a relatively calm night and early morning.
According to various news sources, militiamen from the Jund al-Sham and Muslim Youth groups launched an attack on Fateh and the Palestinian Security Forces in the Hettine and Taamir areas inside the camp. The shooting quickly spread to the Darb el-Sim and Jabal el-Halib neighborhoods.
Following this further deterioration on the ground, Fateh fighters launched an attack on fundamentalist positions in Hettine, inside the camp.
These clashes reportedly left several Jund el-Cham and Muslim Youth fighters wounded.
